Kurt Millwood’s father is the brainchild behind the innovative AME Tilting Quick Hitch attachment. Recognising the need for a more efficient approach to the job, Kurt's father created a concept for a permanent fitting that connects the machine to the attachment, enabling users to adjust the bucket angle and maintain a straight line, even on uneven terrain.

Collaborating with a local fabricator, they brought their vision to life by creating their first tilt hitch. This marked the inception of a new business venture, which gained a stellar reputation throughout Tasmania.

Today, AME specialises in selling tailor-made tilt hitches through dealerships across Australia. Our operations are centered exclusively in our Spreyton, Tasmania workshop, where we manufacture every component in-house. Our hitches are custom-crafted to meet your specific requirements, regardless of your pickup setup and machinery.
